DAY 1.- ATO IN + CHARLES DARWIN SCIENTIFIC STATION is an opportunity to learn about Galapagos conservation in action. His work is of vital importance to protect the pristine habitat of the Galapagos National Park, where we can observe giant tortoises endemic to the island, land iguanas, finches, on the trails, and visit the VAN STRAELEN INTERPRETATION CENTER, a space to learn about Galapagos sharks, mangroves, currents and invasive marine species.
DAY 2.- TORTUGA BAY + UPPER PART (RANCHO + LAVA TUNNELS + TWIN CRATERS)
TORTUGA BAY BEACH is ranked among the 25 best beaches in the world. We will hike approximately 45 minutesto the beach. It is a beach of approximately 2 km long, white sand formed by fish bones and white coral; considered a sanctuary for iguanas, sea turtles and other species where you can swim and perform activities such as swimming, beach games, etc.
UPPER PART (RANCHO + LAVA TUNNELS + TWIN CRATERS)
This tour covers the main attractions of the northern part of Santa Cruz Island where we will visit RANCHO PRIMICIA or CHATO II, in this spectacular place we will be able to find turtles in their natural state. We will continue to THE LAVA TUNNELS of volcanic formation, we will walk towards the interior at a distance of 100 m
approximately, and our guide will give an explanation about the types of volcanic eruptions that formed the islands.
DAY 03: BAY TOUR.
We will take a tour of the bay. We will visit La Lobería, where you can enjoy a unique and incomparable experience swimming and snorkeling with sea lions, sea turtles, reef fish, then we will visit Punta Estrada and the Shark Channel, where we can observe the gully sharks that are totally harmless, from there we will visit the Love Channel. Return to Sta. Cruz, we will walk through salt mines to reach the Cracks, where you can swim with fish and snorkel.
DAY 04: ATO OUT.
After a deliciousbreakfast. We will check out at the hotel and head to the airport for our return flight. End of services
